How I Made My First 100k

Making money is especially difficult for people who are starting out of the trenches and working legitimately, and there are barely any stories out there that can relate to your position and experiences. Which is why today being the first day of motivation Monday, we’ve asked a few people how they came up from the depths to making their first one hundred thousand naira.

So, without further delay, we bring to how the stories of how five different people made their first 100k. Maybe you could take some inspiration.

“It was just one article.”

Was it a contract?

“It was a whitepaper for a crypto token.”

How did you come across it?

“twitter. I was surprised I got the job. I thought it would be a scam. They paid that amount of money for just 3k words.

“A white paper is a legal technical document that explains the purpose of a project.”

“Dortmund… Got a bonus 1k from a betting app, won 50k. Dortmund vs PSG champions league game, them give Dortmund 2 odds , Haaland won me 100k… 125 actually.

“It was from writing. I wrote a crypto article. They were paying 20 euros per 600-word article. I’d write at least 3 everyday. Then they’d pay me at the end of the week.”

How did you come across the job?

“Twitter. A friend sent the link to me and I applied. Twitter is a minefield of opportunities these days.”
